Week in Review

Got woken up by My Little Man this morning after sorting him out went into the lounge and read for a while

I have a new computer (Mr Wonderfuls old one) he hooked it up for me this morning

spent the rest of the day transferring my data from my old computer to the new

also took the boys to a cupcake service at church except my little man slept right thought it in the car he decided not to have a sleep today

I got him a cupcake anyway

 

This morning i was awoken by My Trier at 5.30am but it was ok. I presented him with his bike and then enlisted him in helping me get My Little Mans sand pit ready. He spent the next few hours riding his bike up and down the street

 

One of the reasons I LOVE Christmas this year is the joyous sound emitting from our house. Its the sound of my very happy Little Man presently he is walking around the house with a new toy and singing

I also love how hes starting to get into the spirit of Christmas this year. He knows what Santa says. He enjoyed opening his pressies on his own this morning.

After a dinner of leftovers we watched a movie on TV

recycling to centre My Little Man helped pack the car up and then came with me. It was really BUSY everyone was recycling today

After all that I read some more of my book

quiet day had a half an hour ride on My Triers bike and got my own bike from our new next door neighbours its a bit rusty but it will do for a start. I am saving up for a seat for My Little Man so he can come with us.

Today My Trier is going on holiday to his grandfathers (bless him hes very supportive caring and loyal) and this morning we realized I have to buy the boy underpants!!!! So out we went on a mission, I also brought the groceries for the week.

went for another bike ride this avo 40 minutes today

 

Woke up early this morning blogged, breakfasted and biked (for 42 minutes)

Then came home to my awake house of boys and showered - that felt so good

Lunched at a good friends (hes a Hawkes Bayer whom lives in Aussie and is a radio DJ over there) hes home for Christmas and New Years

Finally got to church this morning after Mr Wonderful jump started my car. For some reason it had died I have no idea why.

Mr Wonderful and My Little Man went over to his parents for the day

After I had a nice homemade lunch I did some more stock take of the resources I have for homeschooling

Then I got to hot so blog and read for a while

Watched a New Zealand/English  movie on TV with Mr Wonderful and My Little Man got a early night he didnt nap today

My Life as a Book Meme

If your life was a book, what Genre would it be and why?

Drama - life often is isnt it?

Would it be a stand alone or a series?

Im not sure. Would there be enough in my life to make a series. I do know the basic outline though. It would start with my childhood memoirs, followed by my first marriage and all that entailed, present day romance and life, going on to whatever the future holds install. They all involve drama but have slightly different genre mixed in too dont they?

What would the title of your life’s book be?

A tough question, Jen’s Life? Corny??? My 3 Boys and I?

What’s the spiritual theme of your book?

This could be a chapter in itself. How a shy quiet depressed young lady found God and Hes never let her down since. Transforming her into the mature confident lady I am today. How God loves unconditionally no matter what. When what is often lacking in ones life espcially from her own parents Jen finds love in God because God is Love.

What would your goal be?

To be the most loving and supporting person (mother, partner) I can be for My 3 Boys.

What’s the motivation for your goal?

A life full of rejections. Vowing never to be like my own mother was.

Who’s your hero?

God

What’s your conflict?

Who’s your antagonist?

my mother? The story would tell of how I got out from under her apron strings eventually and went on to life my own life with My 3 Boys and God by my side

Where are you in your life’s book? (The beginning, middle, end, have you reached your black moment, are you into your resolution?)

The middle. There are many years ahead of me (God willing) that are yet to be explored. A life full of possibilities and opportunities that are still awaiting me.

Is there a happy ending?

For sure. If it was a series it could go on into the after life. My Life with Jesus in Heaven.

Santa lives at the North Pole.JESUS is everywhere.

Santa rides in a sleigh

JESUS rides on the wind and walks on the water.

JESUS became our gift and died on the tree.

It’s obvious there is really no comparison.

We need to remember WHO Christmas is all about.

We need to put Christ back in Christmas.

Jesus is still the reason for the season.

2. Make it a priority to read my bible daily

3. To show my love for my family better even when I am feeling down

4. Trust God more hes put us (the boys and I) together for a special reason. He expects us to correct our boys consistency.

5. Take my problems more quicker instead of sometimes after the fact

Week in Review

A quiet day. Blogged, organized photos for Trademe. Had an afternoon sleep when My Little Man had his.

Fine 26°

Another quiet day. Spoke to my exlandlord on the phone and hes got picky about what he reckons he needs in the way of my bond $$. Hes going to have a fight on his hands. Rang the tenancy service people.

Sold a few things over Tradme.

After picked My Trier up and went and got some digi photos developed for a girl at My Triers school who has special needs but whom climbed the rock wall last week.

Tonight was the end of year concert and prize giving. My Triers class performed a instrumental piece. My Trier also received 3 certificates He got a bit down in bed when he thought about leaving his friends behind to homeschool next year. Mr Wonderful talked to him after I had and reminded him hed always have his adoring little brother. Our Little Man had a big cuddle with My Trier and that cheered him up

 

Not as hot today as its raining.

Have you ever lived in a house where you actually got motivated to do housework???

I never have until now. I LOVE this house, its easy to clean and I find myself rejoicing over things like washing the floors on my hands and knees. And washing floors is what I had to do after My Little Man decided he wanted to play with the flour!!!

I wasnt impressed when he decided to get into the pantry and do this twice in one day and when he opened the fridge and christened it with milk

Brought some paper today to wrap trademe sells in.

 

Well at last Im in the Christmas Spirit. Thank goodness. I wondered whether it would in fact come.

Ive never really liked Christmas Trees and I saw Dees display a few weeks ago so I decided to decorate a shelf on my wall unit instead hopefully being up there My Little Man wont pull apart as I fear he may do with a Christmas Tree

This morning I brought My Little Man a sandpit (it is a large plastic clam shell) 14 years ago they use to have lids (they may still have but not where I got his Christmas pressie from) so I also brought a tarpaulin and some special ties so that it can have a cover. I now have to find a place that sells sand.

I am keeping my eye on a bike on Trademe (a New Zealand auction site) for My Trier.
I won Mr Wonderfuls present a while ago though a competition held though the blogs in America. Cant tell you what it is. Its a surprise and Mr Wonderful reads my blog.

Today is also the last day of school for My Trier. He only had to go till lunchtime and even then it was optional. His teacher and now a very good friend of mine exchanged Christmas presents and promised to stay in touch with one another. She has a similar background to me (solo mum) and wont be teaching at My Triers school next year. My Triery told her our plans for next year and she is interested to know how we go. She thinks its a good idea and agrees that My Trier responds better one to one.

Late this avo got the sand so thats Little Man sorted for Christmas

Got 4 bags of sand at a very reasonable prize at Mitre 10 Mega HEAVY but worth it Oh and My Trier got his little bro some sand toys for his Christmas Present to him

Mr Wonderful and I went and brought him a new computer this morning. Im excited cause im going to get his old one

Then we came home. I went and bought My Triers Christmas Present

Brought it home under a couple of sheets and sent My Trier into my bedroom while I put it into hiding.

Took both boys grocery shopping. Got Christmas dinner sorted out as well as the normal groceries.

Had an afternoon sleep. I was awake at 5 am this morning thinking about last night.

Tonight Mr Wonderful and I were cooked dinner by My Trier it was YUMMMMY!!!! Mr Wonderful told My Trier that it was almost as you get in a restaurant.

Billy Bake

Line a bakeware dish with cooked mashed potatoes that have been mashed with milk and salad dressing

on top of that place sliced pepper, cucumber and luncheon sausage

put on the rest of potato mixture

on top of that a layer of cooked mixed veges and luncheon sausage, cooked sausage, pepper, cucumber and thickly sliced cheese

place under grill until golden brown and serve.

A slow start to today and then Mr Wonderful had to work. While he was away I did what hes been saying he has to do and mowed the lawns. Its amazing how fast they are growing at the moment.

This avo My Trier had a dress rehearsal for the Christmas play at church tomorrow morning. While he did that I took my Little Man to the library. We were able to get a few books about Christmas, hes getting into this year. When I got back to church I was able to support a friend whose having a few hazzles.

 

 

Church did an excellent performance of the Christmas Story

In the avo we went to see Mr Wonderfuls parents and got Christmas presents Mr Wonderful and I got this and its yummy had a slice as Ive already organised Christmas dinner
