Week In Review

home schooled after My home schooler went out for his training session (news paper) his friend stayed and played a while

play group My Home Schooler served pizza at morning tea and lead the music session

I made stars with the kids

these are Our Little Mans and my one

we walked there again and back

After My Home schoolers session with his private tutor we went to see Dee again

Looked after a little boy while his mum went with My Home Schooler and his friend to practice the paper run again

My home schooler is sick today

i used the time to go and clean up the sea scout hall

they have a roster for the parents to do their turn once a year or something easy like that

the hall was a MESS!!!!!!! I dont think people have pulling their weigh and when i returned the key the man said he hadnt had anyone pick it for weeks

It took me 3 hours.

This morning I dropped my bike off to the bike shop and went to the chemist to get some nose spray I have a cold.

Then I went to Farmers and brought some new towels. Then we (Our Little Man and I) went to the $2 shop to buy my new hair brush and the bank to cash a cheque in. Lastly we went to the supermarket to pick up a few things I didnt get last night.

Our Little Man was full on this morning. Running here running there crazy crazy. After I had brought my new hair brush I got Our Little Man from the back of the shop and told him it was time to go. He rushed out of the shop saying “GO GO!!!!”

We passed a lady in the shop whose eyes were nearly popping out of her head I reassured her that everything was ok it was just my son

When we were going back to the car (and i had the car unlocked, my handbag on my seat with the keys sitting on my bag) Our Little Man took off again and ran into a music shop. Two guys were talking in the shop and I said you could catch him. They didnt move. I got him in the back of the shop. I was not impressed. Thankfully the car and my handbag were fine. Oh my what a morning.

I took My Home Schooler to the doctors. He has a very very bad cold and was given some medicine. Our Little Man must have wore himself out because he slept in the cat the whole time we were at the doctors.

At 3pm excitedly I got my bike back. I could have gotten it fixed ages ago. It didnt cost much and was just a puncture. Our Little Man and I went for a ride around the block. Yaye!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

a very quiet weekend I have a severe head cold accompanied by sinus pain

Mr Wonderful had gone over to his parents place for the day with Our Little Man. At about 3.30 pm his father had a heart attack right in front of him. Mr Wonderful rang for an ambulance and dad was rushed to hospital, he had another had another heart attack on the way and kept passing out. Hes in coronary care.

He has a pace maker that might be breaking down and need of replacement, he also has a bubble near his heart (theres a special name for it but I dont know what it is)

Anyway as crook as I was feeling I texted Mr Wonderful and told him Id meet him half way bewteen Hastings and Napier and take Our Little Man home so he could go back and be with his dad.

I wish I was better so I could go and see him too its very distressing (Ive cried a couple of times) Im not ready to lose Dad Wonderful. Hes such an awesome man

Mr Wonderful finally came home at 10.30pm

Sicker today. Had to get up breifty so writing this to you my dear reader. Shortly I will be having another inhalation. Then it will back to bed again. Our home schooling friends did come over very breifty and she gave me some vitamin pills to take bless her. They are also the people My Home Schooler will be doing the paper run for while they are away on holiday.

My Wonderful went back up to the hospital again after lunch to see his dad.

Week In Review

Spent half the night awake. As I was putting Our Little Man to bed last night I got a phone call from a lady from the church we went to yesterday. They had lost the church key and wondered if Our Little Man had it. For some reason I was kind of put out that they would think we had anything to do with. If I had seen him with it I would have asked whom it belonged to and Im sure too he would have shown it to me. Im not sure if we will go back or not. There are other churches I could go to if indeed I cant get to our normal church – because of lack of petrol.

Had a good day bit cold though and I was a bit grumpy by late afternoon – lack of sleep

I was given this top by one of Mr Wonderfuls clients bless her

playgroup was busy many children and enjoyable

I got arty

this afternoon we popped over to Dees and had a nice visit with her

Tonight my home schooler and I went to see The Sound Of Music. We have some friends whom are acting in it. They got free tickets for friends for their final few dress rehearsals. I am so blessed thanks to them I wouldnt be able to go otherwise. I LOVE live stage shows.

I LOVED it. Theres something very special about live stage shows.

Ive always liked him. I didnt know he was going to be in it. I kept wondering whether it was him or not – I couldnt quite believe it.

I wasnt sure what the policy on taking photos was so I waited until the end (where it wouldnt matter so much if they threw us out) as it turned out it was ok

They turned the water off while I was in the shower this morning. I had to walk about for about 1/2 an hour with my head full of conditioner and no way of getting it off.

Then he had youth group they went to laser force it was earlier than normal so it was all go today

This morning I was TIRED

I was awoken at 6am I think Our Little Man was having a bad dream his crying woke me up he settled down very quickly

He and his daddy went out this morning so I went back to bed and slept for another couple of hours. I must have been so tired I had 3 coffees between 6 and 10 and they didnt keep me awake

When Mr Wonderful got back he thought there was something wrong with me but no I was just tired

This afternoon I cleaned the house

Tonight My Home schooler went out toea sing along camp fire with the Sea Scouts and the leader dropped him afterwards I really appreciated  this as I was tired again tonight

Week In Review

today was an interesting day

Wanna know what my boys are looking at visit our home schooling blog

Our Little Man fell asleep straight after dinner so Mr Wonderful and I spent some time watching TV together

I walked to and home again from play group today took half an hour each way. I am low on petrol and cant afford to get more. Nice day so it was quite nice. My Home Schooler rode his bike.

Had a good home schooling day today feel like we achieved some good learning today

The boys and I took my home schoolers bike into the bike shop to get fixed today

When I got home from dropping the bike off I told my home schooler that I can see the day where i wont be using my car much anymore. That and the price of food is sky rocketing!!!

I can see the day when we will have to consider having to start going to a church that closer before too long which will be so so sad.

I already walked to playgroup this week and am considering walking to swimming tomorrow.

Although I went grocery shopping tonight Mr Wonderful and I did spend 1/2 an hour together watching TV

walked to swimming and took a home schooling friend of My Home schoolers with us. Took half an hour each way. After we got back from swimming went and opened a bank account for My Home Schooler for when he gets his paper run at the end of the month. Youth group I stayed to save petrol it was movie night and we watched Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium it was good and I think we have to get it out ourselves so Our Little Man can watch it too.

My home schooler went out with Mr Wonderful today. They are working. Hope My Home schooler is behaving this a rare treat that could maybe repeated if he behaves.

Blogged and cleaned the house.

Helped a friend of my next door neighbour set up an account with Trademe (over the phone). Felt good helping him. Got a taste for some of the work Mr Wonderful does – helping people with some of their computer problems.

Walked to church and back again today. Almost an hour each way. Id do it again even though I was sore for a while afterwards. The people were lovely. Just 15 people counting us. My Little Man put the candles out at the end with the help of the vicar. Hes never done that before. This church is circa 121 years old. It reminded me of the church that the Ingalls might have attended. (Mind you with further research I found they might have actually attended a slightly larger church). A service is only held there twice a month. It would safe me some petrol – even if I drove the car.

This afternoon we had 3 visitors. First some friends from playgroup came over. Then one of Mr Wonderfuls grown up niece came over. It was so nice seeing them all.

Tonight I showed Our Little Man the stars in the sky. He was so cute. He wanted to touch them.

she said she was paying $4 a gallon for gasoline

petrol costs $2 a litre here
1 gallon = 4 litres
and 1.00 USD = 1.33260 NZD
therefore we are paying double what you guys in America are

Im still in shock and we are spending more for food now too
