In a similar kind of fashion.  Although it wasnt raining.  I too ended up in a watery mess this morning.

Mr Wonderful has My Little Man today.  After I dropped him off at our usual meeting spot I went for a walk.

Part way through my walk I was walking though a golf course.  Normally the general public arent allowed to walk in such places.  This gets to me as I always love the way golf courses are nicely landscaped.  Anyway this one seemed to have lots of entrances and fairly open so I decided to risk it.  All was well and it was nice.  I watched out for golfers so as not to be in their way.  I walked along the side of a stream.  Eventually it came to a gate to a private properety so I decided I had to cross the stream.  I chose the narrowest part and as I stepped in (it wasnt deep) I found myself in a “puddle” right up to my middle.

I sat there a minute or two and just laughed and laughed.

No one had seen me and  the incident just touched my self of humour.

I stood up and got out of the water my pants were all wet.  Hope no one sees me I thought.  However it didnt really worry me Id just share my funny story with them too LOL

I continued on my walk and ended up walking an hour and 16 minutes in total.

When I got home I did have a nice warm shower to chase away any  lergees that might have been in the stream.

Will I be going there again???

You bet ya!!!!  For all the adventures I have on my walks I LOVE them.

  3. The looks of that water can be deceiving, can’t it? LOL!

Are lergees the same as leeches? Just curious….

    Love and hugs,

  5. Diane
It wasnt deep until I was sitting in it
I tested it as I put my foot in
but it must have been slippery
I had debated taking my shoes off but left them on and they dont have any traction on them

lergees are another word for germs

    Isnt it Denise 🙂

  6. I don’t know what I’d do if I ended up in your situation. Probably enjoying myself like you did too. What an experience. LOL.
