I knew it had WINDY here but . . .

News reports have the wind gusting at 83kmh

I have been praying at night because its then that I feel our house shaking – bit scary

but our house was built pre1931 so Im sure it will stand it

and if anything did happen God would look after us

  5. Wow, that is windy!! I love your perspective. I was just reading the other day the Psalm that said something like “His heart is not afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting the Lord.” (I should go look it up.) But I love that that’s what you’re doing.

  6. We had that wind on Saturday. I was terrified. Our pergola blew over, and I yelled for my husband to help. We got it back up, and then he left to go to the lumber store for deck screws. I was so scared that it would colapse again, so I called my Dad. šŸ™‚ Hmmmm… you’ve given me insight into a good story here. Thanks!

  16. Strong winds can be quite scary. I remember one time shortly after we had moved to our current home when my husband had to be in another town for class the whole week and a storm came through. The wind howled and rattled around our house during the night. I woke up, which I rarely do, and must admit I was a bit frightened.

    I’m glad your house is strong, and I know the Lord will protect you.
