Week in Review

Quiet morning


IEP meeting after school. It was good My Trier has gone up some reading levels and at the moment is being good at school.


Went to see Mr Wonderfuls mum shes 70 today

The boys gave her this



Mr Wonderful made it He also painted it

Today was a LONG day

My Trier had the day off school

We went to playgroup where playgroup gave him these as a present


Then we went to the shops

Dropped the stuff off at home

Went to my friends mums funeral

SO SO many people

went to the burial then to her house had a bbq dinner

home after My Little Man had gone to sleep again hed fallen asleep in the car but had to have a night nappy on which gave him a 2nd wind

My Trier and I decorated the lounge eventually we went to bed at 10 pm

Bed today was a LONG but ok day

After school today we went shopping and My Trier spoilt his brother by giving him a ride in one of these


My Little Man loved it. My Trier paid for it. Bless him. I should have taken my camera


Spent the whole day putting prices on my stuff that Im putting on a garage sale Im having tomorrow

Up at the crack of dawn

Garage Sale

I made NZ$57 I was 🙂

would have made more except there was another garage sale down the road



Went and looked at 2 houses to rent today fell in love with one

Tonight we heard that we have a new rental home


Today vacummed cleaned the house

Loaded what didnt sell yesterday on to Trademe

But intend to try again next Saturday  as well

wrote a letter to

end my rental here in just 3 weeks 



  1. Yee Ha!! I am so happy for you, Jen! About time you got another better place to live, out from under that good for nothing landlord where you’re at now. Hopefully the new place is in much better condition and the landlord will keep things in good repair.

    I don’t envy you the packing and moving though….

    Im in love with my new kitchen
    the house is only 3 years old

  12. Wow! I hope your next landlord takes much better care of you and your home! This is great news, can’t wait for pics of your new kitchen and home…

    Btw, I read your post about being torn between working and homeschooling, and your decision is in my prayers. Just pray hard and let the Lord lead you. Homeschooling is not something you want to get into if it’s not God’s will for you guys. I understand your doubts and fears, but IF it’s God’s will, then He will turn your weaknesses into strengths. You CAN do it. It might be the best thing ever for you and your son’s relationship, as well as his education and character.

    You definitely have a lot to weigh when thinking (PRAYING) this over.
