My Little Man has been indicating that hes scared of something that goes grrrrrrrrrr!!!

Hes been going on about it for the last few days at night time and this avo he was sitting on my knee and telling this scary thing off
he was looking into the kitchen from the lounge and saying NO NO NO
his eyes were wide the only thing I could see were a few flies

I kinda wonder whether a certain big brother has been feeding his head with tales
I told My Trier if that is the case he has got to stop

It is common for toddlers to have fears but its not fair if hes scared and doesnt need to be

I have told him that nothing can hurt him in our house. I wont let anything hurt my baby.

  1. Aww, I hope he gets over it soon (or you at least discover what he is afraid of)

  2. It’s never fun when they’re afraid. We’ve done a spray bottle filled with water as a monster spray when Munchkin was younger. Now that she’s older, we really stress the power of prayer and go over scripture with her about fear. (((hugs))) Praying that all passes soon.

  5. All our kids went through a similar phase. So I think it may be normal … with each of them I just went with the flo with them and they seemed to grow out of it. Hope that happens with your little man too!

  7. I remember when I was little I used to be scared to go to bed just incase my arm dangled off the side once I fell asleep because I believed that there was a monster that lived under my bed waiting to grab my arm!

  8. Yep, my Pookie Bear keeps having bad dreams, and they have monsters and killing in them. I hope we both figure out what’s going on with our kiddos! 🙂

  10. You know, my three year old has suddenly stopped wanting to go into the bathroom by herself, or into my bedroom by herself. ??? Strange. She says she’s scared, but of what? I know her sisters haven’t been filling her mind with stuff and she never watches TV/movies so it’s not from that. I think she just has too big of an imagination.

Thankfully she doesn’t care at all when it’s naptime (she naps on my bed in our room) or bedtime. Being in the dark doesn’t scare her!

I’m hoping “this too shall pass”!

Wow, you’re busy, packing is so tiresome, but hopefully this will be it for a while! I love change, if only moving didn’t take so much out of one!

God bless, Jen! I’d wish you a Happy Thanksgiving, but I know it’s not in NZ!
