I started the week being awarded. A sure nice way to start the week thanks Recel

A quiet day

Sorted out the recycling with my little helper (My Little Man)

Rang and changed my address all over the place

tuesday-1.jpg
Playgroup. I left My Little Man there while I went to see the new landlady and her friend. My new landlady is going to tour the Sth Island lucky thing so her friend is going to keep an eye us on the place.

DUH!!! ME I thought the new landlady said 10.30am turns out she said 10. I wasnt impressed myself. I have to go back tomorrow. I was forgiven.

Went back to playgroup where upon taking to the mums there found out a few things. I offered to support one of the mums who thinks she might be depressed. Told her to ring me if she feels she needs a break from her kids. I hope and pray she takes me up on my offer shes special as are her kids.

After lunch took the recycles to the recycle plant then came home. Mr Wonderful came over for a while.

Quiet afternoon

My Trier had the day off school and as Dee said “he must be sick.” He stayed in bed when her kids who also had the day off school (they are getting our sickness too) came over with her.

This time I did meet the land lady’s friend. Shes nice too. We agreed about the kitchen. In my opinion its to die for.

I spent the rest of the day fulfilling a promise to Dee. Before we decided to move I said Id be happy to help her make some calendars and a coloring book for her extended family for Christmas. Dee is very new computering (and has no printer) and she saw the calendar I made for myself at the beginning of the year so she knew I was clever, able to do such things with computers. I enjoyed doing it. It felt good to do this for Dee she has been such a good neighbor over the last 3 years.

The calendars Dee chose the pictures. We discussed how she wanted to look. I made them.

I designed the coloring book cover theming it with the rest of the book. Dee had gone out but I knew she wanted the little boys name on the book. Im praying the little boy does play with it. Apparently his parents dont interact with him much. As I said to Dee even if you provide all the materials it doesnt always guarantee they will spend time with their child. I do hope so through. Theres a lot to be learnt though this little book.

Tonight I started working on My Triers exemption to home school next year

This morning I woke up to find “flowers” on my computer table from My Trier

Later My Little Man was an airplane. I was really interacting with the TV. One of his favourite programmes is a New Zealand made programme called The Go Show. I couldnt get a real good photo as he was running around quickly with his arms out (like a plane at times)

Todays a good day see why here

Decided to take the washing that had piled up to the laundromat

Then got some more boxes Ive decided that after dinner tomorrow night Im going to pack the last bits and pieces up

Also went and did a small grocey shop. Mr Wonderful and I will do another one on Monday but we needed a few things and I didnt want to do a full shop and then have to take it over to our new house

After a quick yoghurt hang out most of the washing. There was HEAPS!!! Ran out of pegs.

Finally sat down and rested

Later in the afternoon I brought in (after folding it) the dry washing and loaded up the clothes line again with washed clothes

what a busy day!!!

In the morning we went to the library. We found a pamphlet about a Christmas party they will be having. I asked if someone important will be there. The librarian said “Yes me” I explained that I meant the jolly man in the red suit. She said she doubted it. And she said even if they did have he wouldnt be able to say “ho ho ho.” How can one have a Christmas party without having Santa there???? We agreed its all so very pc.

After lunch came over with Mr Wonderful and looked at new house. I ended up doing several loads of boxes in the car.

yaye MOVING DAY
I helped bring the first load over and then stayed at the new house and started unpacking, helping Mr Wonderful and a couple of friends unload the trailer when they arrived.

at 4am couldnt sleep so I had a shower followed by a bath (we didnt have a bath at our old house) with the collected water plus some more warm water and enjoyed it with a glass of wine and my book. How divine. My new way of relaxing and it did make me sleepy, as I thought it would.

Woke at 5.30 and unpacked some more boxes. Later in the morning (9.30am) went over to the old house where Dee helped me clean it up ready for final inspection. Took us all day but it did look good. Dee has had several jobs over the years doing commercial cleaning. We welcomed our coffee breaks throughout the day they gave us energy to carry on.

Although pleased with what we had accomplished boy was I SORE at the end of it all.

After dinner here at my lovely new home, which I helped Mr Wonderful make, Dee and her daughter came over for a look and a coffee.

Enjoyed a glass of wine while laughing and enjoying watching Mr Wonderful play with our boys.

Ended the day and week by a nice hot bath.
