I hate earthquakes!!!!

We have just had one it lasted several minutes I was praying aloud for it to stop

It was felt all over the lower north half of New Zealand and in Christchurch

Earthquake report

Nothing fell off the shelves

My feet are still tingling (I get this feeling in them when Im scared of things like heights)

Mr Wonderful arrived home just after it and I burst into tear all over him

heres a news report I found about it

  1. Yep, felt it too, though everyone thought I was crazy, until I googled and showed them the proof lol.

  2. Holy cow, Jen! I hate earthquakes too! We have them here occasionally, but not that strong in my lifetime. Even the 3.5 that we had when I was a teenager scared the bejeebers out of me! I live right smack dab in the middle of the New Madrid fault zone where the most intense quakes in US history were felt in 1811-12, some over 9.0 in intensity. The New Madrid fault is a sleeping giant, and I hate it when it stirs even a little!

There’s bound to be aftershocks from one that big, so be careful and alert. I’ll be praying for you. Keep us posted if you can…

    Love and hugs,

  3. How scary! I remember one we had here. I was in the middle of getting glamour photos done. I was sitting on the floor and the shelves behind me started shaking. Luckily nothing fell off but it freaked me out enough! So glad that you’re all safe.
