I had never read a Bryce Courtenay book before but I will definatley read another one of his now.

This is the story of a little boy who is only 5.  He does some pretty amazing things for a 5 year old and seems older than his years.  He attends a boarding school.  He travels around  virtually alone a lot more than I would let any of my children do at that age.   Although I have never been a fan of boxing it was an interesting story of how this little boy wanted to and went along way to succeeding in his dream of boxing.
