A friend from church lent me some really interesting home schooling books she has I was chuffed

Tonight I was spooked I think i have an over active mind at times

This happened in town

and so I thought oh no all the baddies are gonna come out and do bad stuff

of course it wasnt as bad as that as far I know

After home schooling today we went to the library

this is one place I really like

Mr Wonderful has been reluctant about us home schooling but hes started working to get some educational resources together 🙂

Mr Wonderful gave me some story tapes for the boys to listen to some time

and he also spent some time with Our Little Man

He took them out with him this afternoon after home schooling which allowed me some time to myself 🙂

Tonight Mr Wonderful and I went out on a date. Just the two of us 🙂 It was nice. We went to a Chinese Restaurant, to a lake, to the marina (and saw the boat his dad goes out in sometimes) and to McDs for a coffee. We have decided to try to make this a regular event. It will be good for us.

A quiet day. Quite tired. Planed some lessons

The street upon which we live was not a happy street today. We have new neighbors across the road from us. They decided to crank up their stereo at 5am this morning. I was going to ring noise control but then Our Little Man turned on the light. I didnt want them seeing a light on in case they knew who turned them in. (Next time I will turn the light off quickly!!! They will not be getting a 2nd chance)

This morning shortly after I woke to their music again at 8am a lady from somewhere yelled at them. She did not appreciate their music waking her kids up either. I stood inside making my coffee quietly applauding her.

Church was good to go back after the last few weeks off with sea scout activities. I only needed to be in the little kids room with Our Little Man for 1/2 of the service. This is better than it has been. He still likes Mum or Dad around him.

Quiet afternoon.

  2. We have some new neighbors who cranked up their stereo very loud this morning. Not my style of music and it was very annoying. They turned it down pretty quickly so I don’t know if someone confronted them or called the police or they just felt like turning the loud music down. I’m just glad they did.

Happy first week of March, Jen! 😉

    Love and hugs,

  3. Ugh, I hate neighbours like that.

Going on dates when you’ve been living together for a while is a nice break isn’t it?

  6. Glad you got to go on a date! Hope you are able to make it a regular event.

I don’t know why people feel the need to blast their music out of their homes and cars — especially at 5 am! Hope it’s not a continuing problem.

  7. you know, jen, hubby and i find that we NEED time together, even just sneaking outside with candles and a glass of red once the kiddos are all stashed away really keeps our friendship alive, we need to “trip inside our heads”
love the part about little man discovering shadows, oh how i LOVE the world of our children, so much wonder.
loads of love to you, hope the court visit goes really well X
