Week In Review

worked on our first lap book

This afternoon Mr Wonderful and My Home Schooler went out and brought a new cell phone that My Home Schooler had saved up for. The one he has been using was on expensive plan. This one sounds cool and is with a different provider so cheaper.

Of course Our Little Man wanted to go to but as they only had 1/2 an hour before My Home Schooler was to see Anne he had to stay with me

He was NOT happy
I decided to go and pick mandarins and oranges with him off our trees
he then had fun helping and eating LOL

Did My Home Schoolers 2nd paper run so he could come home and play with his new toy

after home schooling made another lap book
also gave Our Little Man a hair cut
another quiet day
I worried about My Home Schooler this afternoon he seemed to take forever to come home after his paper runs. He had to deliever a special flyer to all the houses on his run that didnt have a newspaper
grocey shopping tonight and spent some time alone afterwards too 🙂
Mr Wonderful took the boys to see his mother – shes in hospital now very sick (she has a bladder, kidney and chest infections), and at some time while shes there she will also get a hip replacement

busy busy busy thats what today was!!!

home schooled for a couple of hours

went and got My Home Schoolers eyes test. He sees just fine – we had wondered – so thats good 🙂

swimming – as we usually do on a Friday afternoon – cycled there

just got home and My Home Schooler texted and asked that I bring his plastic bags for the run so did that

he uses the plastic bags to put some of the newspapers in and hed accidentally thrown them in the bin

hell keep me fit – cycling there here and everywhere

home again I cooked Hays recipe again this time using Irish Stew beef

brought in a load of washing and put a load out

went and helped My Home Schooler with his 2nd paper run – he was running out of time

youth group

Rejoicing that this is the last time for a while at least that I will have to get up and do one of the paper runs for My Home Schooler

His friend is due back any day now and so My home schooler will only have 1 run and plenty of time to deliver his papers on a Saturday morning

another reason I am pleased is that my bike is falling apart a bit – the bike rack has come loose and it made an awful racket (I tried to tie it up a bit so it wouldnt wake the neighborhood up) so this along with the fact that I had to help My Home Schooler find a way to get to where his paper pick was (the street was cordoned off by police and their tape) meant I took quite a while to do the run but still got finished on time

After breakfast of bacon and eggs made by moi I blogged and found this

The Bunch of Tulips Award

from the lovely Alice

Thanks Alice they are beautiful

If you are reading this – good on you and consider yourself tulipfied 🙂

went to the library and park

cleaned the house

after dinner couldnt get on to the internet so did some crafty things instead

then while the boys watched TV and Mr Wonderful went to bed – hes stressed out about his mum

had a nice relaxing bath with my book

then took My Home Schooler and Our Little Man to the art gallery

I would have liked to have shown you my favourite pieces but I was kept busy trying to keep the Little Man quiet not at all easy.  We went as part of Home Schooling so what was important is what My Home Schooler got out of this trip.

  3. i love the art gallery. the latest piece at ours is a huge sort of sculpture which is metres and metres of long thin strips of red plastic rubbish bag ties, suspended from the ceiling, and you walk right into the middle of it. it’s slightly claustrophobic but an amazing experience – a surprise awaits you in the middle of the structure. awesome.
