Week In Review

Filed under: Home and Family, week in review — by my3boysandi @ 7:31 pm

Went down to the bank with My Home Schooler he lost his wallet over the weekend so we had to get him a new bank card, then we went to shops I got a stapler he got a new wallet, then we dropped off the recycles.

We searched the house for my keys and gave them a new home where we knew where they would be next time

I did some home schooling work – wrapping up and organizing work for next term

Mr Wonderful took both boys with him today so I had the house to myself
I blogged, I face booked (are any of you on it???)
Then I had a shower
They came home about 3 pm and I took Our Little Man grocery shopping with me

Today was a good day I won this off the lovely Kate

and i also found out my favourite cousin had her baby tonight – another little girl 🙂  She has a boy and 2 girls now 🙂

I have said it before “Sometimes I wish I were born a man”

Heres why

what was I doing?

tiding  up my desk

watering indoor plants

tiding lounge, kitchen, bedroom including changing sheets

washing bathroom and toilet

washing floors

washing clothes

fold the washing

changing  Our Little Man’s sheets

Last weekend My Home Schooler moved the sandpit and since then Our Little Man has spent some time everyday playing in it

Our Little Man and I went to church today it was nice 🙂

  1. Our schools and universities just started back in August and September. They won’t have holidays again until the long weekend of Thanksgiving in November, then about 2 weeks out for Christmas.

It’s strange to see your green grass and budding trees while everything is going all brown and harvest colors here with Fall.

Have a great new week, Jen!

    Love and hugs,

  2. We had a sandbox out of a small plastic swimming pool when our guys were little. That picture brings back memories!

  3. YOu have polished floor boards, those are SO much easier to keep clean than carpet.

  6. Oh dear, you have been very, very busy, Jen!

Congratulations for winning the bracelet! It’s very pretty.

  7. Jen, I know how you feel, trust me. When dealing with the small crisis of lice at my home. The only thing hubby helped me with was combing through Luner’s hair.

I did everything else, and he naps a lot too. Must be nice, huh? I cringe of how my house would look if I took naps during the day. Yikes! Not a pretty picture.

  9. Loved your “wishing to be a man”. We feel it in the States, too, Jen! My hubby is awesome and works very hard, but there are times, I swear–he thinks he’s in a hotel! 🙂

  10. ha! lol at the “man photo”…
mine is currently mowing his lawns, fixed his own mower after *someone* helpfully filled up the PETROL can with WATER!!!
the grass is so high, we thought we’d have to get a new mower, but YAY! mister FIXIT fixed it himself!
    love that.
    i’m certainly not a mower-fixer!
love that you won the jewels, may you have many sparkly days.
    mwah X
