My Little Man is 3

This morning I was woken up by one of Mr Wonderfuls sisters texting Happy Birthday at 6 am!!

I went outside and set up my present to Our Little Man

Then surprisingly Our Little Man whom normally sleeps in woke up at 6.30 am

After recieving his presents from his dad and I

we went to McDs for breakfast – he LOVES burgers

We came home I taught My Home Schooler some and then at 11 am My Home Schooler and I set up lunch

I noticed that in some ways My Home Schooler is a prefectionist

He made the cake and decorated the table

This afternoon My Home Schooler and I packed for his weekend sea scout camp

Then he went and did his paper run and saw Anne (he didnt go yesterday – she was busy)

It was a very busy day for me.  I hardly stopped all day.  It will be an early night for me

A good day and Our Little Man is growing up

hes getting bigger as he likes telling us

I got clucky the other day looking at photos of him over the last 3 years

  1. He’s grown so much since we first got acquainted here in Bloggityville, Jen. Happy Happy Birthday to D, and I hope it’s been a great day for him.

    Love and big hugs,

    He sure has
    thanks it was

  5. Happy Birthday to Little Man! God bless him abundantly!

Bless Home Schooler, too, for his thoughtfulness in making the cake and decorating the table. He’s such a darling.

Have a great day of celebration!

    thanks my friend
My Home Schooler has been planning to make him a cake for most of the year 🙂

  6. Happy birthday to your Little Man! Sounds like a fun and busy day. And what a wonderful Home Schooler to help so. Being a perfectionist may drive him crazy sometimes (I speak from experience!) but I would much rather have someone care about how things turn out rather than just slopping it together, so I think that trait will stand him in good stead in the future.

And I am wondering what clucky means? Happy? Wistful? Sentimental? Is that a NZ expression? 🙂

Im not sure where this word comes from – maybe its Australian slang – I found one reference on google

    it means to be broody

I was looking though My Little Mans old photos and looking at him as a baby and little toddler
when he had curly hair and thinking Id like to have a baby like that again

however in reality I dont think I could handle having another baby
and my body would hate me for it
I found it difficult being preggy 3 years ago let alone if i was now
its so much different than when i was 22 and 25

  11. He’s getting so big, Jen! What a cutie! Time goes so fast. Some days seem slow and difficult, but when I look back, I can hardly believe that my son is 12 and my dtr is 10. Way fast. Great pictures. Glad you had a nice day.

    thanks and WAY TOO FAST

  12. Who could sleep in on their birthday? Look at those fun presents! Happy birthday to your little man!

yes but he always sleeps in and I didnt think he would have understood enough to wake up early
