Thanking God

Filed under: faith,Home and Family,National Blog Posting Month,Thanks Giving — by my3boysandi @ 6:12 am

Im singing Praises to God this morning

To God Be The Glory

To God be the glory, great things He has done;
So loved He the world that He gave us His Son,
Who yielded His life an atonement for sin,
And opened the life gate that all may go in.

Refrain

Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
Let the earth hear His voice!
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
Let the people rejoice!
O come to the Father, through Jesus the Son,
And give Him the glory, great things He has done.

O perfect redemption, the purchase of blood,
To every believer the promise of God;
The vilest offender who truly believes,
That moment from Jesus a pardon receives.

Refrain

Great things He has taught us, great things He has done,
And great our rejoicing through Jesus the Son;
But purer, and higher, and greater will be
Our wonder, our transport, when Jesus we see.

Refrain

For almost 3 weeks I have scrimping and saving.  Eating soup for lunch, sometimes baked beans for dinner.  Buying 1/2 the groceys I usually buy and cutting costs where I could.  It hasnt been easy.  Ive been praying to God to please provide us with enough $$ to get us into the new house.  This morning I checked my bank and He has provided.  We’ve done it.  God and I 🙂 and not only has he allowed this to happen he has in fact been a little over generous.

Thank you so much Lord.  Theres been times in my life where I really wondered whether you could provide.  Know I now like most things you expect us to help you but YOU do provide 🙂

Thanks Giving

Filed under: faith,Thanks Giving — by my3boysandi @ 6:40 am

I found this wonderful idea on Denise’s blog

Although we dont celebrate Thanks Giving here in New Zealand

I liked this idea so much Im going to join in

The Idea

Starting October 24th (yes I know that was a couple of days ago here) (I have made a start), every day for thirty days I “snail mailed” or emailed someone on my list. Making a list helps you think about who can send a thank you too.

Who could you thank???

Online buddies

Pastors

Family members

Shop owners/assistants you frequent regularly

Postie

Any one around you that you appreciate?

Anyone makes a tough day a little easier to get through?

Anyone who silently takes care of small (or big) tasks around you?

Anyone who makes you 🙂

The possibilities are endless

So far Ive sent ecards to Mr Wonderful and my sister 🙂
